Liam Hendriks wins

West Australian right handed pitcher Liam Hendriks (pictured above) has recorded his first Major League win. The Minnesota Twins starting pitcher claimed his maiden victory against the Cleveland Indians, at Progressive Field, on September 19. He pitched six quality innings, giving up two hits, two earned runs, and he struck out two batters. The final score was Twins six Indians four, and Hendriks has further confirmed his potential. Since going toe to toe with Seattle Mariners pitching ace Felix Hernandez, on August 27, where Hendriks pitched a complete game, his confidence has grown which has helped provide him with a well deserved win.
