Actor Joel Edgerton first appeared on Australian television in the mid 1990s, which included episodes on: Police Rescue, Water Rats, Wildside, and The Secret Life of Us. He acted alongside Hugh Jackman in the 1999 Australian film Erskineville Kings, and he has accumulated notable film credits with: Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, Ned Kelly, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, and Warrior. Edgerton (pictured above) is progressing to attain more starring roles but his career to date consists mostly of supporting roles. He co-starred in the 2011 film Warrior, which suggests that he has the potential to gain more leading roles now that he has such a credit in an American film. Edgerton represents a new generation of Australians in Hollywood, and he appears comfortable acting in drama and action genre films.
