Anthony LaPaglia has accumulated a substantial number of film credits in the United States, which so far mostly consists of supporting roles. LaPaglia (pictured above) was a quiet achiever acting in American films since the late 1980s, yet he didn't become well known to Australian film and television viewers until the late 1990s with the local movie Looking For Alibrandi. He is best known for his role as FBI Agent Jack Malone from the American television drama Without a Trace. LaPaglia has maintained a strong connection with Australia and starred in: Lantana, The Bank, and Balibo. He also supports the development of soccer in Australia as a part owner of the A-League club Sydney F.C. and as a backer of the International Goalkeepers Academy.
