New York Yankees: Pinstriped Aussies

The New York Yankees are one of the most famous sporting teams in the world. So to have had two Australians wear the pinstripes of the Yankees is a special chapter in Australian Baseball History. It is possible to round up the number of Aussies to three with adopted Australian Pat Kelly. In 1993 Mark Hutton was the first Australian to start a Major League Baseball game as a pitcher. In 1996 and 1998 Graeme Lloyd was the first Australian to win a Baseball World Series. He is also the only Australian to have recorded a pitching win in a World Series game and the only Australian to have had an at-bat in a World Series game.
